Today we’d like to highlight something that is often overlooked when it comes to human trafficking - the plight of the elderly.
Losing your child can be an experience that is overwhelming and extremely traumatic, but not being able to look after your grandchildren or have anyone to look after you in your old age is also a sad and scary prospect for anyone - especially when there is no real social security for people in these remote villages.
This is why our work focuses on more than just the children at the orphanage, but additionally on improving the quality of life of all the members of their local communities. Please donate to help us provide supplies and opportunities for the people in these villages to get back on their feet and regain the security they have lost through these tragic circumstances.
